This was the first time we have used Galveston Shuttle. I must admit, I was a little skeptical after reading the reviews, but I must admit, I was impressed from the very beginning, including their quick responses to my numerous emails. We took a 10 day cruise from the Port in Galveston. When we returned to the port, I called to reconfirm our ride and was answered with the driver’s name and his approximate ETA. I would recommend this company. We received communication an hour before arrival, and drivers were on time. Vehicles were clean and very comfortable. We travelled from Royal Caribbean in Galveston to George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

Our private transfer with Galveston Shuttle was a terrific way to travel from our cruise to IAH airport. Everything about the transfer was terrific, exceeding expectations. Communication was strong throughout and our driver arrived a bit before our scheduled time. The vehicle was very high quality and clean. Even when the chaos of Royal Caribbean's disembark process caused us to be a bit late, the driver was very nearby and quickly provided a peaceful and comfortable trip to the airport. I DO NOT recommend this shuttle. The driver was really nice though, except for while waiting for other passengers he got out to smoke his cigarette and left the door open. I have asthma and definitely don't want to inhale smoke. For the first hour of our trip we had heat coming out of the vents instead of cold air. So, instead of him enjoying his cigarette, he should have been trying to find the cold air button.....which he did when other passengers complained. Takes way too long to get to your destination. We traveled from Hawaii for a family vacation and cruise. Once we realized how far Houston was from the Galveston cruise terminal, we knew we needed to find transportation for 8 people from Houston hotel to the Galveston cruise terminal. I first attempted to book transportation through the cruise ship, however, their options were limited to Airport a pickup and would not pick us up from our hotel.
