The appraisal district lied about the value of our property, she said it was valued at 497,000 so we get home looks it up and it was valued at 387,000.
I went in to protest my taxes for the first time ever this year in 2025. The facility/offices were very clean and well maintained. They were very efficient, I was facilitated to the correct desk in less than a minute. After signing in and being checked in I waited less than 5 minutes to speak with an appraiser. While I didn’t get exactly what I wanted, the appraiser (Denise) was very friendly and amicable. She listened to my defense, objections, and evidence.
