First, it's not a secret that this is not a luxury nursing home. Also, my relative has been in there for more than 10 years. Do things go wrong? Yes! Does my mother have to stay on the staff? absolutely! But one doesn't dump their relative in any facility without realizing that that person is still you FULL responsibility. People need to accept that we have to keep an eye on our loved ones and YES still advocate for the best care. This health center is so under staffed they should be ashamed . Every time we have visited my brother-in-law he has had his help light on for as long as 35 min to go to the bathroom, then we still had to go find help. It is like finding help in a morgue. The patient in the other bed was calling as long as we there . when help finally came the tech said (oh he has his light on all time). The poor man wanted some water, He said he could call and call and nobody would come. It is not the tech`s fault. The owners must be trying ... read more

I am the parent of a patient in your facility. You do not treat patients and family with the creed of the mission that you have so bold plastered throughout your facility. You do not keep them informed effectively. You attempt to make decisions involving them and their love one as if they have no understanding of love and compassion.You work your employees during the week on 1st shift usually more than enough workers M-F. All of the employees at Autumn Care are very nice and attentive. They took care of my father until he passed. I know it was difficult at times, but they never seemed to mind. My family and I stopped in regularly at different times, but there was never any difference in the atmosphere. It was always pleasant. Autumn Care was truly a home away from home for my father. I am an employee at village care of king, I must say that it is a wonderful and clean enviroment. The staff work very hard to ensure that village care is both clean, friendly and efficient in our residents care. I recommen it highly to anone seeking a home away from home for their loved ones, where they will be loved and cared for as if they were family, Because at vck they are family!!!
