I got back from my Dolomites trip on Saturday. I want to say that your bike fit really worked for me. Over 6 days of riding 225 miles, I climbed nearly 36,000 ft. On one day I rode 69 miles with 10,187 ft of climbing over Passo Mortirolo and Passo Gavia. For comparison, Passo Mortirolo is very similar to the Mt Washington Auto Road. Excellent bike fitting process today, very knowledgeable owner, figure out my type of riding and worked with me to get the fitting right with my existing bike - would highly recommended
I chose Fit Werx to fit me and build a custom-built Parlee Z Zero based on its excellent reputation and recommendations from others in the cycling community. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet those expectations. The most disappointing part of the experience occurred on the day of pickup. Before driving 2–3 hours home, I asked if the bike could be put on a trainer for a quick fit check. I've been riding a so-so fitting bike for years and I decided it was time to get some help. It was awesome to work with Dean and to figure out what I need to ride a bike that fits! Dean is super knowledgeable and he was able to make recommendations about seat height and handlebar distance that I feel really good about. He even taught me how to use clips. I think getting a bike fitting is a great service and the Fit Werx team impressed me.
