I’m a longtime client of FW2. They’ve built two amazing tri bikes for me over the past 20 years. I’m older and my fitness goals are changing but they’re still available to support me. I spent 2 hours yesterday with Stephen discussing my riding needs and he updated my wheels to tubeless. I’m excited for my spring training and the PMC knowing my bike is safe and up to date. Had a bike fit for an existing bike I own, and Dean did an amazing job. He took the time to dial in each part of the bike, so that it was both comfortable and optimized for speed/power. Took a couple of hours, and it was worth every minute as well as worth every penny. I now no longer have my hands go numb when I ride. My hips are less sore, even after a century ride. AND I picked up 5 watts on my FTP.
I recently visited Fit Werx in Peabody to get fitted for a time trial bike, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience! Carolyn was my initial point of contact, handling the booking and greeting me when I arrived. She was incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. I have been assembling and adjusting bikes by myself. I thought I should have a bike assembled and fitted by a professional at least once, so I contacted them by e-mail to request bike assembly and fitting. I should have made the request and done it earlier. The bike was perfectly assembled and the fitting was very friendly and helpful. They were also very helpful in discussing parts with me. Recently I had a bike fitting for my current bike, and I was completely happy with the treatment and experience I had. I was impressed with the pre-fitting questionnaire, which gave me the opportunity to note why I wanted a fitting, what my biking goals were, and the like. On the day of my fitting, I was impressed with the amount of time Dean spent going over the questionnaire I filled out and other things before the fitting even began.
