BAD new owners in 2025-26 have no idea what they are doing and lots of old local employees have been replaced by family members who are rude and try to blame and shame customers for their mistakes have experienced this and witnessed this with other customers some said time they weren't coming back and also they were angry at the crazy increase in prices SO EXPENSIVE NOW and food coded food isn't as fresh. After 10years on weekly visits have had enough of this store like many others. Wont be back.
Wow! IGA Shoalwater really impressed me today! The first thing I noticed was the gorgeous flower display – so vibrant, fresh, and perfect for Mother’s Day! 💐🌸 It instantly brightened my mood. The store itself is super clean, well-organized, and has a warm, welcoming vibe. I found everything I needed, from fresh produce to daily essentials. The staff were friendly and happy to help, which made the whole shopping experience even better.
I come here regularly, and almost every single time they will overcharge at the counter. They usually try to blame me or blame something else instead of owning it. The worst experience was when they took over $35 from me, and only refunded it after I pushed back and proved they were ripping me off. Today was no exception. Since the new owners took over place has not been the same. Seconds in fruit n veg. Less products all round. No light milk yesterday?? No a/c all the chocolates r melted.
I have been coming to this IGA for years and have always had lovely and friendly conversations with the staff. I spend a lot of money in this shop and today I received attitude from a worker for absolutely not reason, it’s really disappointing the way I was spoken too.
