We had my Nan’s Singer Treadle Machine restored by Mak at Furniture Noir and were absolutely thrilled! Not only was the finished product amazing, but the level of service and communication throughout the process right up until delivery, could not be faulted. Would not hesitate to recommend.
We are so pleased we found Mak of Furniture Noir! He has lovingly transformed quite a few of our cherished Australian antique pieces to their former glory and robustness. Some have needed structural re-building, or removal of nasty scratches, or replacement of glass panes whilst others have simply needed the beautiful timber to be brought back to life. Regardless of the scope of the work, Mak has treated each piece with care and brilliantly respected and retained the character.
