These guys are amazing — experts at their craft. We brought in a delicate wooden sculpture that had broken during its shipment from Europe to us. Dan put it back together perfectly, and disguised the repair very well. He was also very accommodating to our rushed schedule. Thank you Dan! We will definitely be back.
When movers damaged my furniture, Funk Brothers did a beautiful job restoring my furniture, including a table that's been in my family for multiple generations. They were accommodating and worked with me on my hours that I was available and I will definitely use them again!
So, 5 years ago I took the Funk Brothers batches of shutters removed from an estate. They had been stripped of all the old finish locally. This stripping process weakened all the glue joints of the original 90-year-old shutters. Once in their shop, they had all the rotted wood removed/replaced, re-squared the sagging joints of each shutter, then clamped and re-glued each joint with marine grade epoxy. 5 years later, they're still square and look great!
