Sad that a smaller bank essentially stole nearly $1000 from me when I missed the deadline to close out my CD by 1 day. When I tried to withdraw the money (before the deadline) and close it online, the web site was down. I then called and learned that I needed to come in in person to close it. Prior to that had several unanswered emails to Kathy Klein, who was who signed us up initially, asking her how to close the account. Came day later and was past the deadline. Ok - no big deal right? Hands down slowest bank in all of New Jersey. Avoid this bank and go to Mtn Ave instead or even better get a different bank. Almost every time im there, it takes me 15 min to go through the drive through with no cars in front of me and no line at the bank. It should take 5 min tops.
Brilliant bank, as someone commented earlier, a trip to the bank is like going to see family. I’d love to be able to single out a member of staff for special praise, but I can’t, they are all equally excellent and friendly.
