I would not recommend using this bank as a mortgage lender. Until the furlough I had always paid my payment in full and timely. I get rewarded by them negatively reporting on my credit during my forbearance period. I was also informed that the forbearance would start with November and not the first missed payment of October.
I have been trying to close my bank account for a month now. I was told to write myself a check to empty the account, then once the account was empty, they could close the account. I did as instructed, however, before the bank account was closed I received a service fee. I again called and asked them to reverse it so I could get the account to zero to close the account, that I was simply doing as I was told.
