History Established in 1977. The Fullerton Arboretum was created in a joint powers agreement between the City of Fullerton, California State University at Fullerton, and the Friends of the Fullerton Arboretum. It was opened in 1977 as a non-profit botanical museum.

smell the sage If you like walking through arboretums, you're enjoy this one. Approximately 23 acres, it's a nice way to spend some time with nature. This arboretum is part of the Cal St Fullerton campus. Enjoy the native plants, visit the pond with host to lots of turtles and ducks. They have a great plant store so be sure to stop by and take home a few natives for your garden. If you have time, visit the Heritage House and Museum while your there. Check times for tours.
