I went in for prenatal acupuncture with Maureen during the late stages of pregnancy. As a mom over 35 I was concerned about going past my due date and needing to be induced; my midwife told me acupuncture can help the body and mind soften prepare for birth. Maureen took time to talk me through everything (this was my first time getting acupuncture), listening carefully to my goals and concerns, and laying out a plan for a treatment that felt right for me. Maureen is a wonderful acupuncturist. She is caring and curious. She is incredibly knowledgeable about using acupuncture to support physical, emotional and mental processes and I appreciate that she is always engaged in more continuing education to further deepen her exxpertise. Her space is beautiful, clean, and calming as is her gentle demeanor.
Maureen is an incredible acupuncturist! Not only have her treatments helped me balance my hormones and also soothe a chronic skin infection, but I have learned so much about Chinese medicine and how to care for my body, mind, and spirit. My biweekly sessions are a balm and I always leave feeling better than when I came in. I would highly recommend seeing Maureen if you have the chance.
I have been receiving acupuncture from Maureen for over nine years and would recommend her again and again! She has helped me through back pain, during my pregnancy, arthritis, sleep and stress issues, you name it. Acupunture with Maureen is extremely beneficial.
