Shell Key Island and Ferry are worth the money especially for little kids. They will have fun on the beach and the water
My wife and I attempted to go shelling at Shell Key. We had difficulty locating the ferry. Once we received accurate directions we found our destination. Please be aware that the ferry is done for the day at 2:30 PM. There are several options to pay parking The kiosk was very difficult to read in the daylight. There is a Q-code that would be easier to use. I hope this is helpful and you have a great day finding shells. Bill.
Ferry ride was great even on a windy day. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We seen some dolphins so they took the extra time to stop and watch them a bit
We had an incredible experience on the Ferry to Egmont Key. Zip (Captain) and Daren were great guides with lots of information about Egmont. We spent several hours on the beach and exploring the trails of Egmont Key.
