I am writing this as both a parent and a professional who understands child development. My experience with the FSCD office has been deeply disappointing. 4 years of waiting for a caseworker. 4 years! My kids going to be 18 by the time I get any kind of support. Edited to add that in the 4 years I received one email saying I was waitlisted and absolutely nothing else. No interm supports or guidance or anything.

Have tried numerous times to reach my kids case worker to re evaluate his contract and she has ghosted me. Called the office and spoke to the lovely ladies who were nothing but helpful and assured me she still worked there and was in office. This kind of treatment is why parents of special needs children struggle.
