Good quality produce and always good deals in the sales section! A little pricey but that is in exchange for superior quality to Woolworths or Coles. It would be nice to see less plastic used, particularly with shrink wrapping and plastic trays, but overall a lovely green grocer I would definitely recommend
Fruity Capers always offers very fresh fruits and vegetables. The quality is excellent and much better than most supermarkets.
Fruit and vegetables here used to be super premium but a recent visit has been disappointing. The Missile Apples were edible but not crunchy so we’re probably old stock. And the Snow Peas were so old they had big peas in the pod.
The produce is very good quality. The customer service less so. I asked for a bag at the conclusion of the transaction (it was not offered when I was greeted initially) as I noticed some hanging up behind the assistant. I was told they were 10c and was asked if I had 10c. I thought I did, but I did not. I offered to buy something else in exchange for the bag, but the assistant told me, rather tersely, to take it and ignored me to move on to the next customer. She asked him if he needed a bag.
