Fruitscapes is a wonderful place to visit. The fruit stand is packed with seasonal fruit, preserves & local honey. They typically always have home grown mangoes, varieties are the best I've ever eaten! We were also lucky enough to buy some cheramoya and tamarind; the products are local, and very seasonal so if you are after something specific call ahead. Everyone else seemed nice and helpful, great fruit What really left me feeling off was the young lady there, she made me feel like I didn’t belong, I don’t know if it’s a race thing or just her having a bad day but I don’t feel like I deserved a attitude for no reason.
Quite possibly the best fruit farm in Florida, we have purchased several trees and fertilizer. If you live on pine Island you know and have been to this nursery. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I visit them frequently and mango season it's a must. Extremely Greatful for Steve's recommendations and expertise.
