I received a holiday gift from Frontgate from a relative. I called, explaining that I needed to exchange it for something else. To do that I had to return the item and a gift certificate would be sent to me. They got all the information they needed to do this. I followed the instructions with a label which cost me over $6 of the gift certificate. I waited for 14 days. No certificate. I called. $80 for a bath towel and it lasted no less than 10 uses before tearing down the middle. I wish I was joking. Customer service did nothing about it. You would have to be crazy to spend your money with them. I have $20 towels that lasted a decade.
I noticed how many times this has been viewed... wow! My issue was resolved eventually and I do have two beautiful framed art pieces on my wall. I bought (2) 1500.00 framed prints. One was delivered w a damaged frame. I called customer service to replace the damaged item. I am on my (6th) exchange for the same print! YES I WROTE 6! Absolute trash company. Threatens customers for their errors. Horrible work practices.
Frontgate is a bad risk to purchase from: about a year ago, a new bath towel selvedge started to fray and when I called & I asked them if I needed to send proof of defect they said no and replaced the item right away. Great. But the big expensive stuff like umbrella parts....not so good. Most of the time, the CS reps just don't want to deal with anything complex, so they fluff it off.
