This place keeps their animals in abhorrent conditions. Bird cages are not locked. I've seen kids teasing and almost hurt an Eclectus parrot that was in a cage unattended.Another Eclectus was playing with a ballpoint pen near the front of the store (bad idea, the ink is poisonous to them, and he could easily bite through the pen). The parrots are all fed seed food, which is a huge no-no. The fish tanks were dirty and nearly all of them had dead fish of varying degrees of decay in them. ive been to this pet store 100 times.my kids love it for the simple fact every pet is hands on.you can hold just about every pet.and all the pets are soooo friendly,actualy i was shocked to see how tamed all the animals where.so dont take my word for it drop by and check them out.you will not be disappointed i promise.
PUPPY MILLS!!! Please do NOT purchase a puppy here and support the abusive puppy mill industry. NO MATTER WHAT THEY TELL YOU, EVERY puppy in there comes from a puppy mill. They have posted a sign recently stating that their puppies come from ''USDA licensed and inspected breeders''....a clever ploy, but if you bother finding out what that actually means, it means puppy mill. Regular small scale breeders don't get licensed or inspected because the USDA only does that for large scale commercial breeding operations- i.e., puppy... read more
Great Selection This store has a lot to offer. From a variety of live pets to the supplies needed to care for them. This store is pricier than the large chains, but customer service and product quality is better.
Large on pet supplies This store offers a huge variety of pet care needs. They have a huge verietyof fish. They are a little bit pricey than the larger pet stores. The space is also a little tight but they have everything.
Great place to take the kids We come here sometimes just to get out of the house. Our son loves to see all the animals, and the staff is super friendly and always asks us if we want to get one of the puppies out to play with. The have a huge selection of dogs, and fish.. i just wish they had more kitties.
Great pet store I like the wide variety of stuff this store offers. I think their space is a little cramped for what they want to do with it, but I appreciate it just the same. They have a large LARGE selection of fish in the back from golfish to sting rays. I always go here first for my pet needs!
Pretty nice store They have a lot of nice tanks...some VERY big. They are also very nice to kids. The fish seemed pretty healthy, too. I was impressed that the employee I talked to actually seemed to be knowledgeable about fish, too.
