Defective Hand Painted Mailbox I am so disappointed with Bob, the manager of this store. I purchased a beautiful hand painted mailbox on 4/17/2010. The paint is pealing off now. So I called the store to see how they suggest the situation to be handled. Well, Bob informed me that I should have put a protective coat on the mailbox and that he cannot do anything. Rudeness of employees This store should be called the unfriendly gift shop. I was in the store today to return merchandise I had received for Christmas. When we first went into the store we were told by the clerk the cost of the merchandise and was advised to walk around the store to use the credit from the returned merchandise. After walking around for 40 minutes we were then informed by the manager that he didn;t want the item back. Nice gift shop The Friendly Gift Shop is a nice giftshop that has a great selection of items for gifts, as well as cards and stationary. It's a good place to go to buy a gift for a wife, mom, or girlfriend. They have the usual things, as well as some items you don't see anywhere else, mostly decorative items. A good place to go when you don't know what to get!

Fun items and wide selection The Friendly Gift Shop is a very cute neighborhood gift shop with a wide selection of gift items and cards. There are about 8 rows of cards for every occasion imaginable. Then there are the gift items - ranging from stuffed animals to glassware to candles. They have some unusual pieces as well. They also sell the popular Vera Bradley line of bags. They have a nice return policy as well. You can find a last minute gift there easily for almost any taste and age. Fun to browse there.

Great store, lots of variety This store has so much to choose from. They offer a wide variety of collectibles. Their staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. As a Hallmark store they offer the ornaments and the Shoebox line of cards. They also have a nice selection of Delaware souvenirs.
