It is hard to know where to even start!! I had a vision for a piece of furniture that I wanted to go beneath a portrait of my Mom, but found that vintage pieces that had the look I wanted were significantly out of budget! I found a marketplace drawer chest in pretty rough shape that I thought would work and used AI to see how it would look (the second to last pic is the AI image). I had my antique family chair (dating back to the 1880s) recovered by Friends of Furniture, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Deb was so friendly and wonderful to work with—great communication throughout the entire process. Drop-off and pick-up were super easy, and the pricing was very fair. I highly recommend Friend of Furniture. Mitch and Deb were wonderful to work with and my rocking chair turned out beautifully. Mitch re-caned the chair and stained it as well. My husband bought this many years ago so it holds many special memories. It looks so pretty in my mountain home. Use Friend of Furniture! You will be pleased!
What a great job and a great experience. Super friendly and they brought life to a family treasure. The before picture doesn't do justice to just how bad it was. So grateful to Mitch and Deb for their help.
Deb and Mitch recaned a chair for me. They were quick to respond, kept me up to date on the timeline, and were very kind. My chair came back looking beautiful, and they even cleaned up the chair itself.
