I ordered 2600 feet of NYSEG approved, underground line from Cooper in Ithaca. My first phone call was to inquire on whether they carried the line. I was told yes. I then asked how early I should order and pay before delivery (I was told that they had thousands of feet, so it wasn't urgent that I paid at the time of query). I was told I could order and pay one day prior to delivery. Then I went to the establishment to get the quote and the "cut out" sheet for NYSEG.
