Fridrich's is practically an institution in Cleveland. We started out as a coal and feed store back in 1883, and moved across the street to our current location, here in Ohio City, in the 1890's. Since then, we have expanded to become one of the oldest and largest bike shops in the U.S.A.! Bike Shop With Attitude Been going to Fridrich's for over 40 years. Got my first, second third... bikes there. The building hasn't changed a bit. Love it. If you want freindly service with a smile and a load of B.S. go to the suburbs (and pay about double). This is the city, dude, the inner city. This is a bike shop with attitude! Sometimes a bad attitude, but they get the job done.
Bad Experience A friend of mine gave me a bike she found in the garbage. There was no chain on it, it had flat tires and one of the shifters needed to be rewired and repaired. I took it to Fridrich's because I heard they had a good repair shop. The repair man barely looked at my bike (seriously like not even for 30 seconds) and told me that the frame was bent, and that he would never be able to get it to shift properly again. Great place They have knowledgeable staff members and are very willing to help. If you have a problem with your bike, they will get it in quickly and perform the necessary repairs. Repair and upgrade work is always top quality.
A good bike shop Always attentive to the customer and their bikes, this shop usually has a great turnaround time for work performed and good selection of accessories for your bike. Staff is generally knowledgeable and willing to help.
been there a few times for repairs Been to Fridrich's a handful of times over the last ten years and have always appreciated the service, whether just a tune-up or fixing my gears, they've been speedy and reasonably priced. Today I walked in with a kinda simple seat problem and they spent a few minutes to fix it for free!
I took my bike in to get some minor adjustments and they immediately fixed my issues. The customer service was awesome!!
I took my bike in jan to hav it ready in march pay in advance they never work with it they take my rims apart and any other place want to work with them now im stock with a bonch of new parts in my garage
Service was fantastic. The prices were comparable to anything you would find online. Great atmosphere in an old building with history.
This bike shop has been around forever. You can tell it has by the way the building looks but they have a large selection of bikes to choose from. I recently brought my bike in for repair and the lady was very helpful. She didn't tell me that the bike needed more repairs than it really needed. She explained everything that was wrong and kept my bill reasonable. I will definatly go back!!!
