What a great experience today from Snug Harbor. We were not at correct stop and he found us! So fun and learned so many new things about San Juan Island. Jim made the trip a truly enjoyable day. Thanks Aaron Taylor for helping arrange the ride today. You went above and beyond. The open air trolley is a great way to see key points on the island.
The drivers were very friendly, the jokes were kind of stupid. The I live here on the island and I had family with me. The information on your videos is not current. It looks like it’s one huge ad for a wine company and you really miss the opportunity to turn new people onto so much interesting local history. You just simply miss it. Our narrated tour was dreadful. The bus driver was loud and obnoxious. He made very snarky and inappropriate comments about local sights and continued to tell "jokes" along the route. My husband and I spent $67 for a tour of the islands, but ended up returning from Roche Harbor using another transit service .
Rick is the friendliest driver ever!! Really informative tour. The guy who owns the business is really nice and truly cares about the customers. Great way to explore the island without a car!
The Jolly Trolley was what we expected it to be. An inexpensive way ($30 pp) to get around the island for the day. We didn’t hit all the stops but we hit Friday Harbor and the Kiln Lighthouse with Whale Watching point. There was only one driver and we were picked up every 2 hours from each stop. That was fine for us as we really enjoyed sitting by the ocean just listening to the waves. This is one of many tours that we have taken during our travels.
