I 100% agree with others when they say don’t use the insurers RTW person as they are not there for you. I was sceptical of Freshstart at first after a bad experience with 2 different Companies the insurer recommended. My partner found Freshstart online and I have a marvellous person called Katie who has been there for me and treated me with respect and believed in me , which goes such a long way when you’re injured. I initially had my rtw overseen by a company set up by the insurance company, they were not on my side at all. I was made aware that l could choose my own & that's when l called Freshstart. Jake was my case manager & l can't speak highly enough of him. I was very well supported, l was listened too & heard. Jake made the whole process a lot easier, less stressful & he was always available to listen when things got me down. Jake fitted in well with the amazing treating team l had too.
I cannot stress enough about choosing your own RTW team, do not use the one that the insurance company has, they are not on your side. After a awful experience with the RTW company that the insurance company set up, that negatively impacted my mental health, I switched to Fresh Start. The experience was so different, I finally felt like someone was on my side and had my best interests in mind. Big thanks to both Sarah and Amy for all their support.
Rebecca Williams is my case manager and she has always helped me with all my questions and have directed me to Gloria nato who supported me with my counselling and I would like to highly recommend fresh start for injury management you guys are great I wish there was a option for more stars then 5.
I highly recommend fresh start rehabilitation the place is super clean and organised with their friendly staff they welcome and greet people like a family member honestly have ran out of words for them. Giving a 5 star
