Great food and friendly service. The Abbey is our favorite place to dine!
We had a nice experience with out of town family until a waitress came upstairs to where we were and very rudely told us that our children were being very disruptive to the other patrons and asked if we would be leaving soon, while rolling her eyes.
An absolute marvel of a menu, delicious dining and and awesome ole English atmosphere in the heart of the downtown Norfolk shopping district. I myself had the pastrami sandwich with a slice of Belgian chocolate mousse cake as dessert and as the always, the food is nothing but fantastic. If you're looking for a really great dining experience with great prices, this is the place to come and dine. It's dynamite and you'll be glad you did #Super

The she crab soup was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal but the best part was dessert. The key lime pie was out of this world! I'd come back just for the pie!
My wife and I went here last night for our anniversary. Based on reviews from others I was expecting professional service and good food. Our experience last night was the BEST experience we have had since living in the area (about a year now). I called to make a reservation but we showed up about 20 minutes early. Great place to eat, food is superb! Service always friendly and its a unique atmosphere.
The food was delicious and very reasonable for lunch. Great choice. The building is also beautiful and it looks great inside. It's a fantastic renovated space and it feels very homey. Would definitely eat here again.
