Friendly on the Phone, Shock in Person Over the phone, they were warm, accommodating to me, a senior in pain, and even said they were dog friendly. They quoted $40/year for simple short-form returns. I advised them I didn’t own money, IRS owed me. When I walked in, after completing the returns in 10 minutes, and advised I would get a refund of $2,000 the price suddenly jumped to $240 per year ($1,440.00 an hour).
