Sorrento Modular Sofa – $4,319, delivered Dec 2022. After only 2.5 years of light use, the leather is peeling in multiple areas despite using the recommended cleaning products. Freedom refused to remedy the issue, calling it “normal wear and tear” for aniline leather—which was never disclosed at purchase. Very disappointing quality and service for a premium-priced lounge. I’m blown away with the care, patience and friendliness of Danielle at Freedom Maroochydore. It’s made buying for our new house enjoyable dealing with her on multiple locations and I’m so thankful she works there! I’d highly recommend asking for her as she’s a GEM!!
Walked in to the store today to purchase a dinning room table, 8 chairs and possibly an outdoor lounge. Nobody greeted me, acknowledged me even though the staff were not with customers. I waited at the front counter to be served and still nobody would help me, a lady went behind the counter and grabbed some paper and still didn’t even acknowledge me, a customer who was behind me and had just walked in the store was served by another lady whilst I still stood there waiting. We've furnished 3 homes with Freedom. The quality control on their furniture has diminished in the last 20 years. When we did have an issue with a furniture piece, Freedom's care to the matter was either slow or nonresponsive and certainly not meeting customer expectations. Two chaises had lumps across the foam (we didn'tbother to address), a Tasman Oak dining table started to discolour within a year, Tasman Oak bedside tables also did the same after 2 years, a dining chair started to rust within a year too.
