I ordered a couch from Freedom Preston – Northland Homemaker Centre, delivered to Fitzroy. When the delivery team arrived I was rushing to work. I asked if they could assemble the couch — they said they only do delivery. They handed me a paper that looked exactly like a normal delivery slip. I signed it quickly without reading properly, only to find out later it was a waiver. And they didn’t even give me a copy of what I signed at all. shoppers beware: Freedom furniture imports cheap stuff from China, and when the problem due to its poor quality arises, they say: not our problem, denying warranty claim. An Aspect sofa that I bought had so little filling in the backrest, that they lost their shape almost immediately. When I took the issue back to Freedom Furniture, they said: fluff it up (every day) - not our problem
