My home loan servicing transferred from Wells Fargo to Freedom Mortgage amidst escrow changes. Rather than letting me settle the terms of escrow change I had already received from Wells Fargo, Freedom Mortgage ran a new analysis and told me my escrow shortage was more and my payments were going up more with the explanation that my property taxes increased from what Wells Fargo reported. Freedom mortgage is a joke. The only thing they are consistent about is raising your mortgage payments every year.
Payton simply was not knowledgeable. I explained to her specifically multiple times that my name is the single/solo name on the title that my father in law deeded to me on April 22, 2025, which means 3 months and after having pulled my credit and requesting the same documents over a 2 week period and making a $400 advanced appraisal payment, she said underwriters couldn’t approve my loan because it hasn't been in my name long enough. I will be posting this in google and yelp also. Waste of my time, money and credit pull.
They did me wrong on my refinance. Instead of a showing me my options. This is after them calling repeatedly trying to get me to refinance. Then they kept me in my fha loan which and lowered my interest rate but caused me to still have to pay pmi. As a first time home buyer I was unaware. They also keep calling me weekly trying to get me to use my equity in my house. Like others, my loan was sold to them, I did not choose to work with this company.
These folks suck real bad!!!
