Have a VA home loan with them been on hold for 2hrs customer service sucks
The customer service sucks. My tax rate changed and every time I call, the tax department tells me conflicting information and there is a new piece of paper I need from the assessor's office to get my monthly payment lowered. Absolutely terrible experience. Good customer service would be them reaching out to the assessor's office on my behalf to take care of it, but they won't.
This company seems to be understaffed or unreliable to conduct business. They keep pushing their website even though there's still people that that doesn't do business online. Their phone system is very daunting. They pass you around to departments and keeps you on hold for a long time. Then ( other than a payment) it seems the problem still wasn't resolved. This company does not like you to contact them with any inquiries. We've been with them for years and it's the worst mortgage company for customer service I've ever been with. You call the phone number provided but it keeps looping around to the original menu. Want to use the online ask questions tool? Nope, can't do that either because it tells you to call the phone number.
Really hate this company. I am behind 1 payment since I became unemployed and have been paying late fees every month okay that's fine , but now my house needed to roof replaced. The work is done and the insurance sent the check to freedom mortgage and freedom mortgage is literally doing all they can to not release the funds to the contractor. I have given written and over the phone authorization to talk to my contractor without me on the phone, but yet freedom mortgage has to call me every single day at work when my contract... read more
