Incompetence at it’s WORST!!!!! The CSRs are clueless!!!!
Deliberately unhelpful, tripled my elderly mom's monthly mortgage and won't tell us what we need to do to fix it. Customer service has actually yelled at me for asking questions. As soon as we can, we are refinancing through another bank. Do not get a mortgage through "freedom* mortgage.
If it could be zero stars it would be ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! Worst company ever. Customer service is ignorant. Completely go against laws. Saying lawyers and the law is wrong and their policy trumps everything. Even though their policy contradicts laws. The house in question has been sold several weeks ago and we are sitting on money all we want is to know the payoff and how much we need to give them. Incompetent and unwilling to own their mistakes. Approaching 4 months now after completion of repairs and insurance check they mishandled, sent to another mortgage holder and lost the returned check. Had to stop payment on the original check and have insurance company re-issue a new check, all by me. Freedom promised to expedite the new check and we are still waiting with their pat response of 7-10 business days. No special handling provided as offered. Customer service is unresponsive.
