Absolutely the worst company and customer service I have seen in recent years. They hide behind “policy’ and continually pass you along to a “supervisor” hoping you will get tired and hang up. They will flat out lie to you and disregard common sense , ethics, and morals. USE ANY COMPANY THATS NOT NAMED FREEDOM MORTGAGE. It’s a sorry ass way to treat people. You guys should be ashamed.
Anytime I try contacting them, it has been a huge waste of time. One time I spent over an hour with someone who at the end of it didn't even do what I had called for to begin with. Recently, I asked for a new escrow analysis since my home insurance went from $2600/yr to $1800/yr, and the balance changed, so I thought the payment amount would change as well, but they refuse to do a new escrow analysis until January 2026 and simply marked my request resolved without resolving anything. Incompetent crooks. They tried to more than double the homeowners insurance without notice, they said we owed back taxes and then the current taxes. They increased our mortgage by 1,300 a month without even a notice. We have found a different insurance company for less than half of what they were going to charge us, we filed two different tax exemptions AND changed the back taxes to 59 month payments instead of 12 and each time they're trying to gaslight me and give different excuses and explanations each time I request an a... read more
This place is a scam and need to be reported to the better business bureau!! They cancelled my insurance company and then started charging me 800$ a month for hazardous insurance !? Are you imbeciles? I live in a condo . There will be a lawsuit.
This company is horrendous. People on phone absolutely incompetent. Been told 7 different things, had my mortgage escrow analysis redone 4 times and still not right. Now they’ve increased my mortgage payments post annual evaluation for the second time because they screwed up the escrow analysis numbers yet again. I’d recommend paying the little extra in interest to not have to deal with these clowns. Uncertain where they recruit/hire these people at, but it’s impressively poor quality.
