Freedom Mortage has been the absolute worst company i have ever worked with. I would give them a zero if possible. I am attempting to become the "successor of interest" on a mortgage (that I currently pay in my deceased father's name) in order to pay off said mortgage. After 20 plus phone calls Freedom Mortgage has either through gross negligence or incompetence has either lost the paper work they've asked for from me, transferred me to another department (that gives me zero answers) or continually asks for more documents th... read more
Over 15 minutes on the phone just to opt out of marketing/information sharing. Insane, hope I never need to work with them on anything mortgage related. Update: Had to work with them for an escrow overage, where the check they cut to me somehow got lost. 3 months later and still haven’t received anything after contacting them three times.
No stars really. Absolute greed and nothing else. Disgusting business practices. But, they do defend themselves by saying they're only following suit with every other loan company. You won't find this company going above and beyond for is customers, you will find it going above and beyond to keep as much of your mortgage as they can as their profit.
Not the worst but far from the best or even better options for mortgages. Our mortgage was purchased by this company, so we didn’t get the option to choose. Customer service isn’t very attentive or knowledgeable. Each person tells you different information. I asked for a supervisor and was put on hold for an hour, just to talk to another representative. This company is the worst! They won’t accommodate me with setting up my “auto pay” they refuse to just do it in their system… because the don’t want to be liable! Well, tell me why all the other mortgage companies will provide this feature? Can you not pay or train your team members to do this service?!
