I bought a floor lamp from the floor stock and by the time we got home (less than 10min later) it was broken. Came back straight away and they didn’t have another one. There was a very similar one for $30 more and manager didn’t want to price match. I think, as a recurrent customer, she should have given me that one for the inconvenience.
Similar to a previous review, went into Freedom to select a rug over the weekend. Was extremely disappointed by the service of a staff member Katherine. I was judged for the colour I selected to match my couch and home furnishings and felt a bit pushed into potentially selecting other ones. The stores are great and the sale team at the stores are great. The disappointment I have is with the warranty service. We are over 4 months in the process of getting our couch repaired. We have had two inspections and have been promised a replacement part. I am sure it will all happen but the process is so incredibly long and drawn out. Unfortunately, we won’t be buying from Freedom again due to the after sales support, despite the fact that the staff at the stores are fantastic.
We had interior decorator Alison attend our home and we were pleased with her suggestions. No heavy sell and her quote with suggested furnishings arrived within 3 days. We went to the store and made our purchases, plus a couple of extras due to the sale. At the pick-up door, we met Ned, a young employee who was lovely and helpful. All staff were great.
