We were spotted looking a bit lost by Hannah who immediately answered every question and gave us every detail we needed from configuration, to fabric colour, delivery, the lot! We walked into Freedom just hoping to get an idea of what we were looking for couch wise, it was the first furniture shop we walked into and the last as we came back shortly after to secure the goods and left with our dream couch ordered in time for Christmas. Was visiting freedom Essendon and was absolutely appalled. I seen a store manger, his name was Ken. I caught him verbally abuse a customer today. Never would want to return an item at this store if that’s how I’d get treated.
I had the WORST experience with a manager at this store. I called to request a refund on a sofa that did not fit into my space and was taken away by the delivery people. My sister had this same issue last year and was refunded immediately, for me, I was told I would have to pay $600 change of mind fee. The manager spoke to me rudely and aggressively and refused to allow me to speak to another staff member when I requested to as I was feeling uncomfortable. Allison was absolutely fabulous to deal with. After initially coming to the store and wanting to place an order and finding the products we wanted, we purchased them through Allison who was super helpful and knowledgeable. We went to a few different furniture stores and Allison was by far the best to deal with. I highly recommend popping in and seeing her.
