Staff were very friendly, we ended up choosing a couch from another store, but this was due to taste and shopping around. The staff were excellent and its a great location.
I’ve always loved Freedom Furniture for its quality and style, but my recent visit was extremely disappointing due to the poor customer service. The blonde sales assistant was surprisingly rude and unhelpful, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I felt like leaving the store immediately. It’s a shame, because I genuinely like the brand—but next time, I’ll be visiting a different branch.
It’s pretty rare to run into corporations that take advantage of their customers like Freedom does. Although printed finely, everyone should be aware of this policy given large impact on your wallet. Freedom cleverly uses a 48 hour policy in which you can not cancel your order after 48 hours of purchase, or you will be charged 35% of the order cost which could well run into high hundreds or thousands given the cost of their products. Note, this isn't for the Aspley store as such, but a warning for anyone dealing with this company fullstop. I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Freedom's online exclusives team. I purchased the Petare sofabed in January, and after trying it out, it was extremely uncomfortable with the top third of the mattress only having around 1cm of padding - you are practically sleeping on the pinewood base. Clean space, spent a lot of time in the store and appreciate the staff let you peruse without the hassle of a sale but also checking in if you needed a hand. Great customer service and spacious.
