Extremely disappointed with the customer service at Freedom. My mum purchased curtain tracks after giving the store assistant my exact wall measurements and relied on their advice for the correct size. When we got home, the track was far too shor, clearly the wrong size had been recommended. She returned to the store expecting a simple exchange, only to be told they “can’t exchange it because the packaging was opened and damaged,” even though the only reason I opened it was to discover their mistake. Terrible experience. Empty promises, zero communication when "6 weeks" for delivery end up being more than 6 months. Delivered to the wrong address and staff showed zero consideration. The customer is always at fault, even when their travel logs and delivery texts confirm otherwise. Escalate it to store management only if you want to be spoken to like you're one of their grandchildren....not a customer who paid thousands. You’ll get first class customer service when you are there browsing and not yet bought anything from them. But once you bought and paid for the items, you’re no longer their first class customer. You’ll be spoken to like you’re the most annoying person while they messed up your delivery agreement. I’d would have given zero rating if there is an option. Terrible customer service at Freedom Furniture. While browsing, I was looking at a lounge when a staff member told me it was custom made, Australian made and “about $4000.” When I joked, “So I should keep walking then?” she actually replied, “Yes.” I was shocked. That kind of response made me feel like I didn’t belong there or couldn’t afford it. No customer should be made to feel that way, no matter the price point. Extremely unprofessional and enough to put me off.
