He was recommended to me when I purchased my business and did a bit of work for me. However, when I contacted him to finish my federal taxes - he had all the information and had agreed to do them - he ghosted me. I tried to get a response from Fred Axe via email and voice mail but he never returned my calls or emails. He must have a reason for this but I will never know what that is. We have used Fred for the last couple of years due to a recommendation from a friend. My husband gave him all of our information in the early spring and Fred stated he was going to file an extension on our behalf. We called and called him to see where we were in the process and to make sure all was good. We left multiple messages with no replies. We finally called again and got his voicemail and it said that if we were a current client an extension would be filed on our behalf and he would be in contact with us soon. We just... read more
