We stumbled on this gem while in Miami. What a great find! Service, food, atmosphere-all 5 🌟. All pasta is made in house, who does that anymore? I had the Pasta al Gusto with cream sauce. My husband had the Special Pasta. What's so special about it? Maybe the half lobster, scallops, shrimp, clams, mussels,or squid! Oh, and the pasta in red sauce that everything was piled on. I went to eat this Monday afternoon and I’m so sad to post this review because I really enjoyed the food and brought me good memories from 4 years ago when I first tried the restaurant. I understand you want to charge 18% gratuity to all checks, it’s Miami, but if you are planing to charge for your service you SHOULD provide a good service. Both of our servers never refill our water or ask if we were okay with the food even though they were only 2 tables in the restaurant at that time. They were not nice at all with us.
All flavors were executed beautifully here! Our service from Jose was warm and jovial. Perfect relaxed place for dinner with friends. The calamari was excellent. The gnocchi with meat sauce was absolutely delicious. I think the Penne Tre Funghi was the best truffle pasta dish I’ve ever had! The Fettuccine allo Scolgio was well balanced with seafood and pasta with an amazing sauce for seafood lovers. Lasagna was excellent. Great prices for the quality of food and service you receive.
