On Monday, I visit the ER at Franciscan hospital after previously visiting another hospital on Thursday Upon arrival I was promptly provided with a wheelchair and received excellent care from the wonderful PA.,who insured I would be seen by a specialist,while waiting in the reclining chair room, volunteer Joe S. continued offering warm blankets and refreshments. I was impressed by the kindness politeness and compassion of the nurses and staff. I will never darken the doors of the other ER again.
I am still traumatized after what this hospital did to my husband during the 2020 plandemic. He had a genetic liver disorder and was dying, they kept putting him in the covid ward with negative covid test, why would you put a dying man who DOESN'T HAVE COVID in area he could get it and die faster. While in an ER room they decided to give him a procedure to remove fluid from his abdomin, the nurse told my husband to push on the area every few minutes and she would be right back an hour and a half later in walks another nurse ... read more
Staff is terrible! They do not communicate with one another! I got a bill sent to collections even though I gave them my insurance information. They dropped the ball and because it was years ago insurance is making ME pay! Can’t get anybody on the phone. They are giving me the run around. I updated my address on the phone with two different staff members and now I called again, it wasn’t changed! I’m frustrated because I am in the military and no longer in that state! This place is so unprofessional.
This hospital used to be my “go-to” hospital for the past 26 years having had all 5 of my daughters there and many ER visits over the years. However, yesterday’s visit has shown me that this location is now just as bad as the Mooresville location. Complete incompetence and a lack of attention to the patient. I was out of town and my mother had fallen so two of my 20+ year old daughters had to leave work and leave what they were doing to meet the ambulance at the hospital at about 8:30am. 1.) ASHLEY TAYLOR SEARS-----This is about Ashley Sears, my "case manager" , everyone else we encountered during the 14 days I spent in the hospital was GREAT. I waited this long to leave a review to ensure nothing was done in retaliation of a bad review. We are STILL dealing with errors caused by Ashley doing her job WRONG on the 6th floor back in July of 2023.
