My sisters and I toured Avista in hopes of moving our 97 year old mom closer to us. Avista was clean, (absolutely no odors that are usually in a nursing home!) attractive and the amenities are great. Although mom decided to stay put, we know that if she changes her mind, this is the place for her! Lynn was amazing and it was easy to see she enjoys her job and takes the utmost care of staff, residents and the building. This is in no way shows any semblance to a nursing home and is a community Thank you, Lynn.
My sisters and I met with Lynn to discuss a possible home for our Mom. Lynn was so friendly and we all got a very positive feeling about Avista. The space was welcoming and clean and very homey feeling. I told my daughter when it comes time for me to leave my home Avista is where I would want to be!
My father in law spent his final months here. His care was wonderful. He and we wished he had moved in earlier.
My mom moved in and loved it from the 1st day. There was a transition of workers but now has settled into a well organized and run facility. Thankful to know my mom is in good care.
We knew this was the place for Mom as soon as we walked in the doors. She’s been here since February and has transitioned beautifully. Friendly staff, fun and interesting activities, good meals. We are very happy.😀❤️
