We were highly recommended this trip by a friend and it lived up to the high praise given. As a family of 4 with kids aged 13 and 11 with the 11 year old being a hesitant swimmer - Frankland Island Cruises had something to offer for us all and plenty of different activities to keep busy. The guidance from the crew to get our hesitant swimmer snorkeling unaided meant everyone had fun in the water seeing a huge variety of coral and sea life. Took the half day tour to Normanby Island today. Absolutely amazing. Small group and the trip was roughly 30 minutes to the island. The staff on the boat were so friendly and accomodating. On the island we saw Clown Fish (Nemo), colourful coral, a baby reef shark, Sea Turtles and lots of other fish. Also offered at the island is Stand up paddle boarding and Kayaking. I like the island has a huge shade cover and lots of tables. Highly recommend!

Fabulous tour that I highly recommend. Wear shoes and pants/shorts that you are comfortable getting wet. Wonderful staff that was highly respectful and helpful to many folks of mixed ages from young to old. I saw numerous turtles, fish, birds, coral, and a saltie!

Did this with my partner, wee a lovely time The island is pristine and I also did a guided a scuba dive that was great. On the island from 1000-1430 which was less than I expected given the website said the boat would dock at 1600 and we were actually back in cairns for 1600. Still had a great time and the website does say the times vary due to the tides so perhaps we just got unlucky. I'd readily recommend it and it was well worth the money.
