From start to finish the entire experience with the people at the Shade Shop was excellent. Having professional and experienced people assist in the selection, planning and installing process went very smoothly. It's nice doing business with a local family owned store and I highly recommend you do the same.
We had the Shade Shop from Kennebunk, ME come in to assist us with a new luminette, blinds, curtains, valances and a roman shade throughout our house. We had recently had a new paint job done and wanted to update all of the curtains throughout. We met with Jan and Frank, very professional and extremely helpful. We recently had motorized shades installed in our veterinary hospital lobby and are extremely happy with the results! They block all direct sunlight (no glares either!) and help reduce heat, which will be a huge benefit in the summer. The motorized feature gives us great flexibility while still allowing full visibility when not in use. The team was very friendly, responsive, and easy to work with, and the installation was completed in just a few hours. Highly recommend!
I have been working with the crew at The Shade Shop for five years. They have a well-deserved reputation for being a landmark in Southern Maine for their excellent service on top-quality products. If you need shades, blinds, etc... call in and ask for Dawn or Jan. Great people, fantastic company!
