Beautiful authentic country store with products ranging from locally raised lamb to clothing. Kind of like a little oasis for the area. Francis the owner is the genuine article and just going in gives one a good feeling. The store also carries beautiful yarn and he has tremendous knowledge in textiles. He even has a museum upstairs with authentic textile machinery. On top of all this he has a law practice. And he is a top notch attorney with vast law knowledge.Nice guy and a smart guy. This yarn shop is an excellent place to stretch your legs and go to the bathroom when you are on the way to Snowshoe or Marlinton from Virginia. The owner is very friendly and there are so many fun things within.
I love this place! Francis is so nice and is always there to help and make our visit great. The pickles and pasta sauce are my favorite! All organic ingredients and super tasty!
