I am a case manager and have worked with Fox Den and several of my clients who are residents over the past several years. I find the staff to be friendly and compassionate. If there is a concern, Paula and her staff work hard with the resident and family to resolve the issue promptly . The facility is beautiful but also has a feeling of comfort and being at home.

My dad was a resident at Foxden for 11 years. He was so happy here, enjoying the many activities Foxden offers, such as van trips for sightseeing or lunch, bingo, live music (for which he loved to dance to!), arts and crafts, and shopping trips. He had many friends here and he truly loved the staff for the great, compassionate care he received. Everyone at Foxden made his elder years so much nicer, and my admiration for what the staff does on a daily basis has never wavered. I can't thank them enough.

My mom has been a resident of Colonial Foxden for 6 years. The staff has been wonderful, caring for my mom with compassion, love, and dignity. They all go above and beyond every day. My mom is very happy there, which gives me great comfort knowing how well she is cared for.

My dad has been at Colonial Fox Den for 3 years now. He moved in a year after my mother’s passing. We both loved the grounds- beautiful and serene in the nh woods. All of the caregivers have been very kind as well. When my dad first moved in, he was sad and bitter and angry at his life changing so drastically. But he could no longer live alone. Paula (the director) and her staff listened attentively and with care and compassion for what we were both going through. My Dad now has a more active life than he has in a long time…... read more
