I have lived at Foiuntainwood at Lake Houston since June 2021 and recently relocated out of the state for personal reasons. Had my situation not changed, I would continue to be a resident there. I arrived with my wife, who needed to be in their memory care unit, now called Oasis. After she passed I remained because of the feeling of "home" that I had developed. So glad we found Fountainwood. Their vetting-process is exceptional! All of their employees/staff are so very caring, empathetic and professional. They go above and beyond for their residence and family members. Cathy as well as Victor and all the staff, too many to name are very special people. They always seem to make time to answer any questions or concerns, we may have which haven’t been many. The Concierge desk is the first place strangers entering FW see or seek help. It is a very difficult position. We haven't always had the best people in that desk. But when Latisha assumed the position of Lead or Head Concierge, it came alive with her personality and attitude. She trained those that worked the desk when she wasn't there. We pray her replacement will follow in her steps with a similar attitude and desire.
