My mom passed away there First fall I aware of ,PSW pushing her in wheel chair ,she fell trauma present Declined medical ,day after fell then she passed . Didn’t report to coroner,which by law,if fall adjacent to death ,to file with coroner’s office

My mother has been staying in lakeside at fountainview for a little over a year now. She has been diagnosed with alzheimers 5 years ago and needs assistance with every day tasks including feeding, bathing and changing. She's also in a wheelchair. When she arrived at fountainview from CAMH, her behabiour was very aggressive and she didn't recognize any of her family and would typically shout a lot. We were happy with the care my mother received during her time at Fountainview. The nurses and POW's on the Skyview floor especially the day staff gave my mother all the attention she required.

Both my parents at this facility. Staff is great but understaffed and underfunded. I wish I was making this up but they have cockroaches, mice, PSWs bringing in Covid, mixing dementia patients in with able minded patients. Theft from the rooms and horrible food. The list can go on and on. The list to move my parents to a different facility is a long one or I would move them asap. Do yourself and your loved one a favour and choose another place for them to live.
