When influenza A was confirmed instead of isolating the patients with the virus in their rooms and shutting the doors to those rooms and only letting staff into those rooms, the facility closed the entire wing and allowed all of the remaining residents to be exposed to influenza A. My husband was released and was in good health. He was strong enough to be able to stand up and walk with his walker. He's suing came down with influenza A and ended up in the hospital. My mother is a patient in your facility in Rapid City SD. She has dementia. You always give her excellent care. My work took me out of South Dakota to Oregon in July of 2015. It has been a hardship to not be able to see her or talk to her very often. It is almost impossible to have a phone conversation with her unless your staff is willing to assist me in the process. I worked for Fountain Springs about 15 years ago as a CNA. I enjoyed every minute that I was there. I miss the residents the most.
