Started off prompt and diligent, but the quality of service deteriorated. Communication became poor, processing was delayed, and instructions weren’t followed. When advice was requested, it simply wasn’t provided. Fees charged were (in my view) excessive given the declining quality of service. I see plenty of “rave” 5‑star reviews here, but my personal experience has been the exact opposite. Very disappointing.
In 2007 having moved to Perth in great upheaval i found a tax accountant Barbara who helped me with financial matters and sound practical advice at a time of crisis. Every year thereafter things got better. Career back on track, and i stayed with what became Fortuna as my work and i moved interstates. This year, having fully and comfortably retired, was the last tax return! Thank you Fortuna for the consistently personal and helpfully efficient service you have given a 'small fry' like me over the years.
