I would not consider this a fair working environment. I would not recommend anyone applying for this company they are inconsiderate. You simply can’t make a mistake or even try explaining without them not caring. It’s all about business here and selling not about having workers. I was barely there for 2 days and I made 1 mistake and they let me go. I was productive and respectful but that was not enough for them. I have taken two of Forte’s chocolate classes (bar making and truffle making). Our instructor (Julian) was excellent and I highly recommend their classes! The truffle class was full, but one phone call to Forte got us our own class that worked for our family that was here from North Carolina. Can’t say enough about this awesome local company.

The atmosphere in the shop is very classy and the various sculptures made of chocolate are impressive. They allow free samples of the various chocolates. The salesperson was extremely knowledgeable about the products and persuasive enough (but not pushy) that I ended up buying some of the tiger stripes bark and a truffle. Why I have to give it 4 instead of 5 stars is the cost. Sadly the price is high enough (8$ for one bar, 4$ truffles, 20$ tiger bark/hot coco/caramel at the time of this review) that it will be limited to ve... read more
