I had a frustrating experience with the Fort Worth Water Department. I called simply trying to pay my senior mother’s water bill on her behalf. I wasn’t asking for account information, account balances, service details, or any private information whatsoever. I was trying to give the city money to keep her bill current. Last owners left trash out I got a notice on Friday I call to let them know I’ll take care of it nobody answers but a automated service it says by Monday I rent a trailer I get it all taken care of before Monday. Turned the water off on Friday while we were at work. No turn off notifications, just cut. Bill is on autopay so didn't know there was an issue until getting home to take a shower. Paid the bill, said would be turned back on that evening. It's 24 hours later and we are still without water. This is completely unacceptable. We paid you. Provide the service. I cant wait to leave this city at the end of the month. You'll never get another dime from me.
I'm in an ongoing dispute with the water department regarding my smart meter that is leaking into my sprinkler box.
