I would not recommend Fort Worth Transitional Care Center, it does not even deserve the one star review. During my mother’s stay, I found her in diabetic shock, partially out of bed, seemingly unattended for hours. Staff response was slow and unprepared—I had to request a glucose check and then had to request for paramedics to be called. Equipment was in poor condition: broken bed rails, a wheelchair with only one working brake, and a promised mattress that was never replaced. My mom has been in this facility for just over a year and I am thankful to say that she has had a few caretakers who go above and beyond at the facility. My first shout out goes to Ms. Coco. Every time I walk into the facility, she has a smile on her face and is treating every patient and visitor with respect. Ms. Coco has no boundaries in regards to helping anyone under her care even if it means giving showers, throwing parties, painting fingernails, etc. Second and third shout outs go to Vivian Fitzgerald and Jodi English ... read more
